In spite of their youth DJ Major & DJ League have quite a musical past behind them. The story starts with two brothers, which are twins. These brothers come along way with music. They come from a musical background, where they father was a very well known jazz musician in his time. Major League the name comes from they friends and cousins calling them Major Leagues since they were also great fans of Major League Baseball. Which they played at a young age and went provincial in it.
Major League ’s musical influences includes everything that they have listened to and been inspired by since their childhood, from Prince to Afrika Bambaataa, from Run DMC to Sean Paul: funk, r'n'b, house, ragga & hip hop. The combination of these influences and the years of ongoing musical experimentation are apparent today in their productions and their club appearances: pure groove, no hype, no frills:
